We started our Christmas break off with lots of cooking, and I have two of the best helpers in the kitchen that I could ever ask for. Harper is so into cooking now when I ask her if she wants to help she starts pushing her helper chair over to the counter. We made chocolate covered pretzels, puppy chow, sugar cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. Funny I still can't imagine why my pants are fitting a bit tighter after Christmas.
The best part of helping in the kitchen, licking the beaters when we are done,
Yum. This is the state I actually prefer my cookies in.
Sunday before Christmas we got to celebrate with the Tomlinson side of the family. I love their fireplace, what a cozy place to spend a winter day.
The kids opening their endless bounty of presents, they were in heaven. Not sure if Harper truly understood exactly what was happening but man did she love opening presents.
The Tomlinson Cousins.
Big grin for her upcoming present. What a perfect day and a great start to our Christmas week.
Christmas Eve we decided to venture down to Union Station and Crown Center, yes once again. What a festive way to spend Christmas Eve, think we might make it a tradition. The kids loved the trains and all the great Christmas decor.
What a goof! He runs laps around the tree trying to keep up with the train.
Merry Christmas.
