We are so lucky to have such incredible friends in our lives that have become more like family than over the years. We recently got a chance to have a few weekends out without all our kiddos to enjoy some adult time together. We attended a concert downtown with our whole crew, 5 couples. Had dinner, drinks, concert, and after concert outing. Love our group and having a chance to all be together is amazing.
A few weeks later we headed out on our annual February trip with the Freemans. We usually try to take a weekend trip mid winter just to get out of town. We decided this year instead of spending so much time traveling we would just head to Lawrence and hang out for the weekend. With just a 30 minute drive we could maximize our fun time. We rented a cute little condo right above Mass street which made for easy access to the night life. On Friday night we saw our favorite band The Turnpike Troubadours at the Granada and we spent a very lazy Saturday morning recovering from our attempt to be college students. Saturday we walked Mass street shopping, eating, and just taking it easy. Saturday night we hit the town for drinks and dinner and had a fabulous time catching up and laughing till we cried. So amazing to have friends you can just be yourself with and be silly with.
