Par for the course I am a day late and a dollar short on my post. This year Christmas came and went before I even knew it and now here I am in February still with no post. So catch up time. We always look forward to Christmas break around our household with everyone off for a full two weeks it is fun all the way around. The kids are at a perfect age for all the magic of Christmas. Lots of questions this year about the how's and what's of Santa and the reindeer. So much fun how excited they are about everything. We were able to spend the holidays with lots of family and friends. Christmas Eve at the Tomlinson's, good food, toasty fire, and family, pretty good combination. The kids were thrilled to get to open presents a day early. We headed home to prep our house for Santa, cookies, milk, notes and reindeer food. Briggs was very specific about the rules of getting out of bed during the night and exactly what needed to happen in order for Santa to come. Santa arrived and as always did not disappoint. Harper received a "frozen" karaoke machine and Briggs the 4 lane elimination track he had been talking about for month. We had a great morning just the four of us playing and hanging out. Mid afternoon the Herron clan arrived at our house filling it with lots of presents, food, and noise. With 6 kids 6 and under there is never a lack of excitement. The kids had a ball playing together and I loved getting to be with my whole family on Christmas Day. We feel so thankful during the holidays to have such great friends and family to share our life with. Merry very late Christmas.
