It is official Harper is a 2 year old. I am pretty sure the minute she turned 2 she also started acting like a 2 year old too. I have hear lots of "I do it myself" and "no help mama" sure makes getting anywhere take about an extra 15 minutes. We had a fabulous birthday weekend to celebrate all the girls Harper, Doe Doe, and Leta. There was a little someone at our house that definitely knew it was her special weekend. We had to sing "Happy Birthday" over and over again, think she liked hearing her own name in a song! Here are the festivities in pictures.
Friday night we had a little family party for Harper. She loved her cake and blowing out the candles. Briggs decided she needed her own hot wheel for her birthday and was very proud to give it to her. She loved opening presents and being the center of attention.
Saturday we headed off to the Royals for an all day adult only game. Who would have thought that we would have frozen at the end of April. It was super cold but we proceeded to have a great time anyways. The tailgate was great and the Royals ended the night with a win!
Sunday morning we hosted a birthday Brunch with the whole family for Harper. She was very proud of her Elmo cake, it was so stinking cute and yummy. Now every time I ask her what she wants to eat she tells me Elmo cake, still 3 weeks later. She knew exactly what the presents were all about and tore through the wrapping paper like a seasoned pro. Once again one of her favorite gifts was a card with signing cats! She was thrilled with her whole birthday and we could not be more proud of our very grown up 2 year old girl.
