We were so fortunate to get to help celebrate our sweet Hadley girl's birthday on Sunday. Hard to believe she is 2 years old and has grown into such a little lady. She was in full celebration mode and so excited that everyone was there all for her. She was most certainly one super cute birthday girl. Our kids love birthday parties, any excuse to eat cake, see new toys, and run around like crazy people we are in. Happy Birthday Haddie we love you like crazy!

Our Little Pumpkins
We made our annual trip to the Weston Red Barn Farm for pumpkin hunting and a bit of the farm life. I adore this place, wish I would have known about it when we got married. I would totally love a country/chic wedding in a barn. The kids were in heaven with all the animals, tractors, hay, and pumpkins. You can also not beat Weston in the fall it is gorgeous. Harper is fearless as always and literally tried to crawl in the fences with the animals. Our ever cautious Briggs prefers to stand back and take in the scenery a bit more usually stating "that is a little too dangerous". It was a beautiful day for making memories with our sweet little pumpkins.
Could you just die for that smile and those pigtails!
Love the rustic charm of this place
Loves the chickens and really wants to feed them.
Does not love the chicken anymore, one tried to fest on her finger. Told then no then every time we passed them again!
What a handsome devil, he is getting so big and grown-up.
Look who took a pony ride without any hesitation. kept patting Pistol our pony telling him thank you.
She would have rode all day had we let her.
Trying out the saddle, could we have a county girl on our hands?
Briggs favorite thing to do was jump off the hay stacks. He loves seeing pictures of himself in action shots.

Birthday Boy
Well it is official we are now the parents of a 4 year old, hard to believe that is true. As always birthday week at our house tends to be pretty busy but so much fun. We started out on Friday by Greg and I taking the day off work to spend a parents day out to celebrate our own birthdays. We had a great day visiting, shopping, and being able to have a complete conversation. Briggs also got to celebrate his school birthday Friday with cupcakes, juice, and his chance to be king of the day.
Papa and Doe Doe came to town to help us celebrate Briggs birthday and it is always a big deal when Papa and Doe Doe get to slumber party at our house. The kids loved having them around and in true Doe Doe fashion she had Briggs opening up all his presents within the first few hours of them arriving. Not sure who was more excited Briggs or Doe Doe.
Sunday we had the whole family over for a birthday breakfast (morning are always better at our house). Briggs truly understood his birthday this year and totally knew he was the center of attention. He loved having all his cousins with him to celebrate his day. Even though we served breakfast we could not go without having a train cake. I think only the kids indulged in the cake but Briggs was thrilled to have leftovers. Briggs was spoiled rotten with all the gifts that he received. Everyone knows him so well and he received all of the things he loves the most. We will not have a shortage of things to do at our house for awhile. Thank you everyone that came and helped to make Briggs day so special, he is so loved and we know that you all mean the world to him.
Greg and I often sit back and think about how lucky we are to have such an amazing little man in our lives. I count my blessing everyday that I am able to be the mommy of such an incredible person. You were the best birthday present for me 4 years ago when you were born and you continue to be the best present year after year. Happy Birthday Briggs Patrick!
Sucker
What is wrong with these photos? Seems Briggs has now tricked Harper into pushing him around in her baby stroller. I think that there has been a violation in the weight limit set for this tiny stroller. Oh the things she will do for her big brother!
