Coming soon... Miss Harper
Well after what has felt like years of waiting the time has finally come. Harper will be making her entrance into the world tomorrow. We had our final doctors appointment today, the 25th and the doctor recommended we be induced this week. Due to scheduling it was either tomorrow or not till next Monday. It was a easy decision for me as this belly is just about as big as I can stand it. After weeks of nesting I think every bottle has been washed, every thread of clothing has been cleaned and her room could not be any tidier. We are about as prepared as we can be for her to make her debut. I am sure there will be very little sleeping tonight but lots of anticipation. Comming soon an introduction to our sweet baby girl......

Granpa Herron
I will try to catch up a bit, the past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind. We had sad news last Saturday when we found out my Grandpa Herron had passed away. He has been battling brain cancer for the past year and finally lost his battle. I have been able to find peacethinking of him joining my Grandma in heaven and being able to be together again. I have such a sweet place in my heart for my Grandpa. We grew up spending so much time with he and Grandma, vacations, sporting events, camping, dinners, and long visits on the porch. He was truly one of the kindest, gentlest men I have ever met. While I am so sad that he will not be in our lives anymore I know he is at peace and no longer in pain. I will always remember all the good times we shared with him and am so thankful our children will have Grandparents in their lives to create those memories with as well.
We spent a few days in Chanute over the course of last week and were able to spend some time with the Herron clan that just keeps growing. We truly do not get together often enough and it was nice to see everyone together and catch up. Love watching the kids play together just like we did when we were kids.
We love you Grandpa and you will be missed.
