Basketball star
Briggs came up to my school last week to watch me play in the faculty/ student basketball game. He did not love the fact that mommy was playing ball without him but later got his chance to play. I think we may have a gym rat on our hands. He got out every ball in the equipment room and continually tried to make it into the hoop. So cute watching him jump over and over trying to reach the hoop. He looks so small next to that big goal. Watch our NBA here we come! They are always looking for short round people right!

Birthday Weekend
Doe Doe and Papa came to town this weekend so we could celebrate Doe Doe and Leta's birthdays. Briggs loved having his Grandparents in town, it is so neat to see him realize who they are and say their names. We spent the weekend hitting some garage sales, taking walks, enjoying some great food, and just being together.

Cinco de Mayo
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo a few days early with our friends and their kiddos at the Ralstons house. As always the food was fabulous and it was great catching up with everyone. Briggs discovered little Aaron's motorized Gator and I fear we will never be the same. He figured our the foot pedal but the steering is still in progress. I think we will be in the market for a gator of our own soon. We love getting the chance to see everyone and spend some time with the babies.

Uncle Mark's Birthday
So I have been a really bad blogger lately, I will blame it on a case of nice weather. We have not been spending much time inside between stroller rides, wagon rides, wee rides, and park stops. You will have to excuse my attempt to make up for lost time.
Last Wednesday we got to celebrate Uncle Mark's birthday with a dinner at Gram and Grandad's house. Mia and Briggs kept us entertained all night, I often wonder what we did for entertainment before we had them around. The city was doing some work outside Gram and Grandad's house, I am pretty sure that Mia and Brigs thought the tractors were brought in especially for them. Funny the things that amuse a 1 and 3 year old. We had a great evening and were so happy to share Mark's birthday with him.
