Our little Wee Rider
I think we may have the next Lance Armstrong on our hands here at the Tomlinson household. We found this great little contraption after looking for a alternative to the bike trailers, it is called the Wee Ride. It is so awesome and I still can not tell who likes it more Briggs or Greg. Briggs looks so cute riding in his helmet and smiles and squeals when Greg goes fast. If you know me and my bicycle riding ability you would understand why Greg is the one that rides with him and not me. We are looking forward to many family rides this summer.

Meet Bob
After a spur of the moment trip to Petsmart we decided that we could not leave without our very own fishy. We chose to name him Bob mainly due to the fact that Briggs has very few words that he can say and Bob happens to be one of them. He now resides on Briggs book shelf and we are hoping that he makes it through his first few days as a Tomlinson. Welcome to the family Bob!

Beautiful Weekend
We had such a great weekend enjoying the perfect weather and practically living outside. I think if we let Briggs pitch a tent in the backyard he would never be inside again. We got to spend lots of time with friends and family just playing and having fun. Just wish the weekends were a bit longer. We are on the downhill slide to a summer full of weekends.... 27 days left.
Hanging out with Ella and Aaron Ralston. He loves the big kids
Now takes the slide all by himself!
Giving Grandad a workout in the backyard.
Finally able to break out our water table and play with cousin Mia.

Easter Part 2
After a nice long Easter weekend in Chanute we got to celebrate Easter with our other favorite cousin Mia. Gram planned a fun Easter egg hunt and dinner for the kids. Thanks Gram for all your Easter egg hiding we are still eating the chocolates. Briggs just loves Mia and looks at her with such adoring eyes. Mia was so nice and really helped Briggs collect his eggs and told him not to eat his candy with the wrapper on (still working on that one). We were able to get outside and play a bit as well. All in all a good Easter week and weekend was had by all.

A mother's love
So I now know what people mean when they day that you would do anything for your child. On Tuesday night I was giving Briggs a bath which tends to be his favorite part of the day when all the sudden I see bubbles coming out from underneath him. I initially thought no big deal until I saw it, yes you are correct it was the floater! I realize I should consider myself lucky that we have went 18 months with no surprises but lets be honest it is a shocker no matter when it happens. After a quick evacuation from the tub a slippery little boy decided to make his way into the laundry room where he left me yet another little surprise (Did not find that till a few hours later). After Cloroxing the tub and all bath toys we finally finished our bath and all was well. Needless to say even in my anguish Briggs found the situation quite humorous (he is a boy go figure). I guess I will cross my fingers that will be our first and last stinky bath time!

Easter Part 1
Happy Easter. Hope everyone was able to enjoy a nice relaxing Easter weekend. We got to spend the weekend in Chanute with the Herrons. What a beautiful weekend, we practically lived outside. Lydia and Briggs got along famously and just had a blast running around the yard together. Briggs really got Easter this year. He loved picking up the eggs and throwing them into his basket. Occasionally we would catch him with a whole piece of chocolate in his mouth with wrapper and all. Too funny. Doe Doe and Papa thank you so much for all your work to make Easter so special for the kids and us big kids. Yes I was the big money egg finder! We had a wonderful time and love watching Briggs spend time with all his cousins and aunts and uncles. More Easter festivities to post soon.....

I think GQ is calling his name.

Note the chocolate covering the faces. Sitting in new Rake and wagon set from Doe Doe and Papa.

Double fisting donuts... So my child.
