Mardi Gras

We headed over to our friends the Freeman's on Sunday night for a belated Mardi Gras celebration. Thank god we were able to get our of the house after a long weekend of snow and cold. Our group of friends has been getting together for years on Sunday nights but we had to laugh at how different our parties have become. In the last year or so we have had an addition of 3 little ones. While it has become a bit more crazy it is so fun to watch all our little cuties have so much fun together. We are going to attempt a lake trip this summer with the whole crew, can't wait for all the memories. We feel so lucky to have such great friends in our life.

Will you be my Valentine?

Briggs had his first Valentine's Day party at school on Friday. I felt like such a PTA mom up Thursday night baking cookies for him to give to his friends. He did not really understand what Valentine's Day was all about but he did love the treats. We love his school and all his little friend that he has made. Hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day.

Wet & Wild

In order to beat the winter blahs we headed out to the Matt Ross Community Center on Saturday to check out the indoor pool. Briggs little girlfriend Sara Granfors along with her parents Bill and Jolene joined us for the afternoon. Briggs was pretty clingy at first until he figured out what it was all about and then we could hardly keep up with him. We had a few face first dives into the water which really did not seem to phase him at all. I think that we might have a little water bug on our hands. We had a great time and Briggs even stole a few kisses from Sara, think he might be a little advanced for his age. They are too cute together! Getting geared up for the Super Bowl and hopefully a snow day (fingers crossed).
